JUMP Competitive Events
The Middle School Competitive Events program is designed to support the health science curriculum in grades 6-8 and to further prepare students to enter the health care field.
The events in the Middle School division are designed to promote leadership development and introduce students to health related skills. The emphasis is on basic academic skills, establishing health career goals, critical thinking skills, poise, and situational problem solving. The competitive events are intended to promote a constructive exploration of health careers in a manner that is fun and rewarding for the student.
Currently there are two JUMP chapters that have participated in the Middle School Competitive Events program at the State Leadership Conference.
