Competitive Events

Sponsorship of a competitive event at the State Leadership Conference provides funds for event costs (e.g. student scholarship, certificates and medals).  To sponsor events, fax the Competitive Event form to Cal-HOSA headquarters.

Educational Scholarships

Each HOSA member receiving a medal for wining a competitive event receives a small monetary scholarship.  Scholarships are awarded to the top, three medalists. Your company’s name will be on the recipient’s monetary award.   Scholarship amounts:

  • Individual events - $350
  • Two member team events – 700
  • Four member team events - $1,400+6
  • Five or more team member events - $1,750 plus

Workshop or Special Event

Sponsoring a workshop or special event at the HOSA State Leadership Conference can include the following.  Your company’s name is prominently displayed as the sponsor.

  3. Advisors’ Breakfast – for all Cal-HOSA chapter advisers
  4. HOSA Presidents’ breakfast
  5. Judges luncheons
